Elizabeth French is prosecuting this action in an attempt to recover on two life insurance policies which had been issued to her husband, James M. While neither, party contends that the notes given in 1913 are invalidated in their entirety by Section 4632, L. O. L., yet, before discussing the arguments advanced by the litigants, it will be necessary to determine whether the notes are affected by that statute, which reads thus:
*419“No life insurance company or any of its representatives doing business in this state shall make or permit any distinction or discrimination in favor of individuals between insurants of the same class and equal expectation of life in the amount of payment of premiums or rates charged for any of its policies of life…
