The petitioner, the North Providence School Committee, seeks review by writ of certiorari of a decision by the commissioner of education (commissioner), as affirmed by the Board of Regents for Elementary and Secondary Education (board), awarding the respondent, Linda D’Ambra, full-time benefits, salary, and a pay-step increase commensurate with her years of service and experience as a part-time teacher.
