This is an action brought in the district court of Douglas county to recover posession of lot No. 50, Connecticut street, in the city of Lawrence. The plaintiffs are the children and heirs at law of one Jerome S. Ridley, deceased, and, as such, claim to have inherited the fee in said real estate. The defendants claim to own the fee under a title acquired through sales of the land for taxes regularly asseásed against it, and also by adverse posession for the statutory period.
