This is an appeal by plaintiffs from a judgment based on a jury verdict in favor of defendant in an action for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff wife when she was struck by defendant’s automobile.
The accident occurred in Mendocino County March 4, 1951, on California Highway 28, which runs in a general northerly and southerly direction, and at a location where the prima facie speed limit of 55 miles per hour is applicable.
