After settling a lawsuit and other related disputes, can a party to the settlement maintain a third-party complaint against the other side’s lawyers for supposedly fostering the litigation that settled? Answering this question in the negative, I respectfully disagree with that portion of the Court’s opinion that allows the maintenance claim in the third-party complaint to survive the lawyers’ dismissal motion.
