The defendant, jointly indicted with William Bacon and Fielding Bacon for the larceny of certain hogs, was tried separately. He has appealed from a judgment of conviction, and from an order denying his motion for a new trial.

1. Appellant excepted to a ruling of the Superior Court overruling his objection to a question asked by the district attorney of the witness F. M. Bell.
