PETERSON, Justice.

This opinion confirms the August 3, 1984, order of this court directing that the Minnesota Secretary of State’s original certification of “Shelvie Prolife Rettmann” as an Independent-Republican candidate for election to the office of United States Representative for the Third District of Minnesota be invalidated and the candidate’s name be recertified as “Shelvie J. Rett-mann” and that the affected county auditors designate the candidate as “Shelvie J. Rettmann” on the primary election ballots.
