RALEIGH BROWN, Justice.
This case involves venue and modification of child support.. Mary Katherine Lawdermilk filed these proceedings in the District Court of Hockley County, the court of original jurisdiction of the divorce, against Carl Eugene Huckeby, her former husband. The matter was transferred to the District Court of Howard County, the residence for six months prior to the filing of the suit of the minor child whose interest the matter concerns.
