AGEE, Circuit Judge:

William White (“White”) was convicted in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for violating 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9) (2000), possessing a firearm after having “been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.” On appeal, White argues that his predicate conviction under Virginia law cannot be considered a “misdemeanor crime of domestic violence” as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(33)(A) (2000…
