A suit for wrongful death was brought by decedent’s family and the family owned business against the owners and lessee of the establishment where decedent was murdered in the course of an attempted robbery. Prior to trial the defendant/cross-defendant owners, Gerald D. Hines, individually, and d/b/a Gerald D. Hines Interests, and Setec Protection Services, Inc. (“Hines”), settled with the plaintiffs.
