ALTENBERND, Judge.
Derrick Leon William Knott appeals’his judgments and sentences for several felonies. We affirm and write primarily to address Mr. Knott’s argument that the State failed to prove that he committed' kidnapping with the intent to “[ijnterfere with the performance of any governmental or political function,” as proscribed by section 787.01(l)(a)(4), ■ Florida Statutes (2011).
