In an action to recover underinsured motorist benefits, (1) the defendant Allstate Insurance Company appeals, as limited by its brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Jones, J.), entered September 12, 1991, as denied its cross motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint and (2) the plaintiffs cross-appeal from so much of the same order as denied their motion for summary judgment on the issue of liability.
