CLAUDE WILLIAMS, Justice.
Jacqueline H. Dedier brought this action against Mrs. Ethel Grossman, individually and as Independent Executrix of the Estate of Frank Grossman, Deceased, seeking to recover the sum of $5,000, with interest, by virtue of the terms and provisions of a letter agreement dated February 14, 1964. The letter, made the basis of this cause of action, is typewritten upon the printed letterhead of “FEAZELL ADVERTISING *233SPECIALTY CO., San Francisco, California,” and is here reproduced:
