Plaintiffs brought suit for the cancellation of a tax deed which had been executed by the county treasurer of Mason county pursuant to a judgment of foreclosure of liens for general taxes levied on the real estate described in the deed, and to quiet title to the property in the plaintiffs. The action was tried to the court without a jury. The court made no formal findings of fact but, upon the evidence, entered a judgment canceling the deed and directing that the sum of one hundred fifty dollars, which plaintiffs had theretofore deposited in the registry of the court, be paid to defendants to…
