This action was brought by respondent, Murphy, against the appellants, Clarksons, who are husband and wife. On May 15, 1897, appellants resided in the state of Missouri, and were the owners of certain real estate situated in Walla Walla Addition to the city of Seattle. On said date they executed a power of attorney, wherein they appointed one F. L.
