This is an action instituted pursuant to article 23-A of the General Business Law (Martin Act), to permanently enjoin the defendant from engaging in the securities business in the State of New York. The complaint alleges that the defendant has been convicted of violation of the United States Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (U. S. Code, tit. 15, § 78a, as amd.). A copy of the indictment on which the defendant was convicted is annexed to the complaint and incorporated by reference.
