PRENTICE, Justice.

Defendant (Appellant) was convicted of child molesting, a class C felony, Ind.Code § 35-42-4-8 (Burns 1984 Cum.Supp.), and found to be an habitual offender, Ind.Code § 35-50-2-8 (Burns 1984 Cum.Supp.). The trial court sentenced him to an enhanced term of eight (8) years imprisonment for the child molesting conviction, further enhanced by thirty (80) years by virtue of the habitual offender determination.
