Plaintiff, Dottie Carpentier, appeals the order of the trial court denying her motion for an award of interest on the judgment and her bill of costs. We affirm the denial of interest but order an award of costs.

In 1989, plaintiff sued defendant, Gena Berg, for damages arising out of an automobile accident. Before trial, defendant sent plaintiff a timely offer of settlement, pursuant to § 13-17-202, C.R.S. (1991 Cum.Supp.), which allowed plaintiff “to take judgment against her in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) exclusive of any costs of this action…
