In this appeal over allegations of common-law fraud in connection with the production and sale of a commercial heating and ventilation system by an Israeli-based company, we are asked to scrutinize every required element of a claim of fraud with specific emphasis on the effect of the plaintiff’s status as a so-called sophisticated investor.
