These two cases were consolidated and tried as one. The first is by plaintiff individually for damages sustained by reason of expenses connected with his wife’s injuries and death and for the loss of her companionship and services. The second is by plaintiff in his capacity as administrator of his wife’s estate for her pain and suffering under the survival act, 3 Comp. Laws 1929, § 14040.
