This case is on remand from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit which reversed defendant’s conviction. United States v. Massey, 550 F.2d 300 (5th Cir. 1977). The Fifth Circuit found that this Court’s failure to suppress defendant’s involuntary admissions to an F.B.I. agent, “obtained in violation of his Miranda rights,” was crucial to the government’s proof against him, and therefore required reversal.
