Complainant has filed her bill for maintenance under the twenty-sixth section of the Divorce act, alleging that defendant is her husband, and that he abandoned her in October, 1916, and has ever since refused to support her. She further alleges that he has a yearly income of $20,000.

Defendant, by his answer, sets up two defences. In the first place, he denies that he is complainant’s husband — alleging that *263complainant on April 26tli, 1917, and subsequent to the alleged abandonment, became domiciled in and a bona fide resident of Nevada, and there instituted a suit for divorce…
