¶ 1. Western National Mutual Insurance appeals the judgment in favor of its insured, Allied Processors, Inc. (API), entered on a jury's verdict finding bad faith and awarding punitive as well as compensatory damages. Western National contends the evidence was insufficient for a finding of bad faith in refusing to settle a personal injury claim against API and for an award of punitive damages. We conclude the evidence was sufficient on both points.
