The plaintiff, Morris Silverstein, appeals from the judgment of the Superior Court upholding the order of the Probate Court for the district of Andover that mortgages be placed on certain land that is part of the estate of Esther S. Silverstein (estate) and allowing certain fees to be charged to the estate. The plaintiff claims that (1) the mortgages ordered by the Probate Court to be placed on property located in Columbia (Columbia property) are void and (2) the Superior Court should have found that certain fees incurred by the defendant administrator of the estate,…
