This is a writ of error to a final judgment enteredjfby *886the Circuit Court of the city of Richmond, in an action for false arrest and malicious prosecution, in which T. J. Wynne was plaintiff and the Virginia Electric and Power Company was defendant. The jury rendered a verdict of $2,000.00 for the plaintiff, a motion to set aside said verdict was overruled, and this judgment was entered thereon. The plaintiff and defendant in the trial court will, for convenience, be designated by the same terms in this opinion.
