Petitioner Elias Umafia-Ramos (“Umaña-Ramos”) seeks asylum and withholding of removal, claiming that if he is forced to return to El Salvador, he will be persecuted because of his prior resistance to the recruitment efforts of the Mara Salvatrucha (“MS”) gang.
