In this CPLR article 78 proceeding, a medical doctor seeks to set aside a determination by the State Medicaid Inspector General (the Medicaid IG) denying her application to be reinstated as a provider in the Medicaid program. The Director of the State Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) has also been joined as a respondent in this proceeding. Both respondents hold positions as bureau heads within the State’s Department of Health.
