In an action to recover on a series of promissory notes, defendants appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Lockman, J.), dated January 7, 1983, which, inter alia, granted plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment, denied defendants’ cross motion to dismiss the complaint or alternatively for summary judgment in their favor, and awarded plaintiff $52,211.77.
