Marvin Jurrens appeals from a final order entered in the United States District Court 1 for the District of South Dakota granting summary judgment in favor of Hartford Life Insurance Co. (Hartford) in this action to recover insurance benefits under an accidental death and dismemberment policy (the Hartford policy). See Jurrens v. Hartford Life Ins. Co., No. CIV 96-1048 (D.S.D.
