The writ was issued in the year 1854, upon a declaration in debt containing a count upon a promissory note, payable in June, 1853: another count upon a bond payable in the year 1843; another, for work and labor, and for money lent, money paid, money had and received, and money due on account stated. The cause was tried by a jury, and there were a verdict and judgment for the plaintiff below upon several issues of fact formed upon the pleadings, which were voluminous.
