This action was brought for alleged extra work and materials furnished in and about the erection of a building in the city of IsTew York. The complaint alleges that the defendant was a married woman', possessed of a separate estate, and owner of the premises upon which the building was erected; that in April, 1883, the plaintiff and defendant made a contract in writing whereby the plaintiff agreed to do all the mason work for a certain theater building then being erected by defendant in the city of Mew York, after certain plans and specifications made for the same, and specifically referred…
