This suit was brought by appellants to recover from appellee damages for the wrongful conversion by defendant of a sum of money belonging to plaintiffs.
It appears that a package of money containing $1761.29 belonging to plaintiffs was received by an express company to be transported and delivered to an agent of plaintiffs at Queen City.
The agent intending to be away on the day that the money was expected to arrive at its destination, and having been informed by the agent of the express company that having no facilities for keeping it safely it could not hold the money…
