Joyce Bond appeals from the order of summary judgment entered in favor of her employer, appellee Lavaca School District. We hold that the statute of limitations under the Fair Teacher Dismissal Act does not bar appellant’s claim because the case does not involve dismissal or nonrenewal of a contract. We also hold that the trial court erred as a matter of law in finding that the Arkansas statute mandating proportional pay for additional days worked, Arkansas Code Annotated section 6-17-807 (Repl. 1999), does not apply to appellant’s teaching contract.
