The question presented in this case is whether a city, which, in accordance with statutory requirement, has paid money for the support of an inmate of a state hospital for the insane, can compel reimbursement from the principal and interest of a trust of which the inmate is the beneficiary. The trial court rendered judgment for the defendant trustee and the city has appealed.
