The sole issue presented in this appeal is whether the named defendant1 surety, Hartford Fire Insurance Company (Hartford Fire Insurance), is liable to the plaintiff, Rita Goldberg, as conservatrix of the estate of Janet A. Colonari, for the entire misappropriation of the estate’s funds by the former conservator, Gregoire R. Sideleau, or whether it is hable only for those misappropriated funds relating to the sale of real property.
