I. INTRODUCTION
Paul Gregory Allen, in his capacity as the trustee of the estate of Adrian Jacobs, brings a claim for copyright infringement against defendant Scholastic Inc. (“Scholastic”) relating to its 2000 publication in the United States of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire {“Goblet of Fire ”).
