The Alabama Department of Revenue (“the Department”) petitioned this Court for a writ of certiorari to review the judgment of the Court of Civil Appeals in favor of Kimberly-Clark Corporation (“KC”) and Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc. (“KCW”) (collectively referred to as “the companies”). See Kimberly-Clark Corp. v. Alabama Dep’t of Revenue, 69 So.Sd 135 (Ala.Civ.App.2008).
