In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County *389(Feuerstein, J.), dated June 27, 1996, which denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The defendant contends that the Supreme Court erred in denying its motion for summary judgment because there is no evidence of the precise defect which caused the plaintiff’s accident. We disagree.
