Plaintiff, William Dillard, filed a six-count complaint, alleging malicious prosecution (two counts), false imprisonment (two counts), and breach of contract (two counts) against defendants, Pat Kean, individually and doing business as Cotton-Kean Ford.

The allegations of the complaint arose as a result of a complaint made to the Du Page County State’s Attorney’s office by Cotton-Kean Ford. (Although plaintiff alleges that Pat Kean initiated the complaint, that allegation is disputed by the defendants.)
