The People brought this interlocutory appeal pursuant to C.A.R. 4.1 to challenge the trial court's order suppressing evidence found by police during an investigatory stop of defendant's automobile. The trial court granted the defendant's motion to suppress. It ruled that the initial traffic stop of defendant's vehicle was legal because the investigating officer had a reasonable suspicion of criminal activity.
