WERDEGAR, J.
Petitioner in this habeas corpus proceeding is serving a life sentence under the “Three Strikes” law. (Pen. Code, §§ 667, subds. (b)-(i), 1170.12.) He alleges he has been denied his “right to the exercise of the trial court’s discretion to dismiss one or more of [his] strike prior convictions.” (See People v. Superior Court (Romero) (1996) 13 Cal.4th 497, 529-530 [53 Cal.Rptr.2d 789, 917 P.2d 628] (Romero).)
