— Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Kooper, J.), rendered September 20, 1983, convicting him of manslaughter in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends on appeal that the People failed to disprove the defense of justification beyond a reasonable doubt (see, Penal Law § 25.00 [1]; People v Reed, 40 NY2d 204, 209). We disagree.
