In this diversity action, which is before me on consent pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(c), plaintiff Julia Esmilla (“Plaintiff’) claims that her employment as the Comptroller of defendant The Cosmopolitan Club (“Defendant” or the “Club”) was terminated in retaliation for her complaints to her supervisors that, in her view, management was using, or intending to use, certain funds in a manner that violated the New York State Labor Law. Plaintiff also alleges that Defendant failed to pay her a guaranteed annual bonus of $10,000.…
