Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Dutchess County (King, J.), rendered March 8, 1990, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

It is well settled that the decision as to whether to permit a defendant to withdraw a previously entered plea of guilty rests within the sound discretion of the court (see, People v Hagzan, 155 AD2d 616, 617; People v Camacho, 154 AD2d 611).
