CLARK, District Judge.

This action was brought by Allen Wells, plaintiff, to quiet title to certain lands conveyed by Mary Elizabeth Long to the United States of America.

By the allegations of the complaint, it appears that the property was originally Owned by Jerome T. Long, now deceased, and Mary Elizabeth Long, his wife, and was, during his lifetime, the community property of said decedent and defendant Mary Elizabeth Long. Prior to the death of Jerome T.
