This appeal concerns a claim for attorney’s fees by Special Counsel for the State of Louisiana who represented the State in a suit in the Sixteenth Judicial District Court for St. Mary Parish against Texaco, Inc. for cancellation of certain mineral leases held by Texaco. The attorneys claiming the fees are the law firm of Broadhurst, Brook, Mangham, Hardy & Reed and Ernest R. Eldred, A Professional Corporation.
