George S. Carpenter, a minor, on September 30,1920, entered into a written contract of conditional sale with the defendant for the purchase of a Stutz automobile for $1,450. He obtained possession, and in payment delivered to the defendant a Dodge roadster, for which he was credited with $850; paid $50 in cash, and gave his ten promissory notes for the balance, payable respectively on the thirtieth day of each succeeding month.
