This case has been before the court several times. At one time it was decided against the plaintiff, who made a motion for a new trial. Pending that motion a considerable number of other cases were submitted, while still others were awaiting hearing, all of which involved the general question of the effect to be given settlements between the Director General of Railroads and the railroad companies.
