OPINION

{¶ 1} In this original action, relator, Jerry A. Wilson, requests a writ of mandamus ordering respondent Industrial Commission of Ohio ("commission") to vacate its order that denied his August 13, 2007 motion for temporary total disability ("TTD") compensation beginning July 1, 2007, on grounds that he voluntarily abandoned his employment with respondent Ellis Brothers, Inc. ("Ellis Brothers"), and to enter an order granting said compensation.
