SHEPARD, Chief Justice.

Appellant Michael Anthony Smith was tried before a jury and convicted of burglary, a class B felony, Ind.Code § 85-48-2-1 (Burns 1985 Repl.) and receiving stolen property, a class D felony, Ind.Code § 35-48-4-2(b) (Burns 1985 Repl.). The trial court sentenced him to concurrent terms of twenty years for burglary and four years for receiving stolen property.

On direct appeal, Smith raises one issue: Whether the evidence of breaking is sufficient to support the burglary conviction.

The evidence at trial established that Smith borrowed a car from his cousin on May 12, 1986.…
